Hyaluronic Acid.

Naturally occurring sugar that is found in all tissues of the body. It helps to bind water and so retain volume to our skin.

This is what gives us volume in our skin. There are two main causes for loss of volume to skin.

• Intrinsic: We are unable to control the speed at which this type of aging occurs. Hormonal changes, bony structure, fat pad metabolism.
• Extrinsic: These are more controllable factors which cause skin aging and so loss of volume from our skin and tissues. Some factors which can speed this process up are, excess sun exposure, smoking, excess alcohol ingestion.

Hyaluronic acid has been developed over the years which has improved efficacy, safety and longevity.

Areas of treatment.

Cheek Fillers (for Volumising and Contouring)

Cheek Filler helps increase volume in the face.

Cheek Filler helps to draw the cheeks back thereby improving lines over the lower face, and the effects are seen immediately and can last for up to 18 months.

The main benefits of cheek Filler are:

• increases skin volume to face; and
• helps with a sagging jaw line.

Lip Contouring and Fill

Possibly one of the most common aesthetic procedures alongside Anti-Wrinkle Treatment currently sought after. We offer each of our clients a bespoke service by assessing their needs and wants with regards to lip enhancement. Lip Fillers are then used to add subtle volume and improve appearance of naturally thinner lips whilst maintaining a natural look.

Lip Flip

This procedure is most effective alongside Botulinum Toxin and is carried out over two appointments at least 2 weeks apart. Contact us for a consultation. We will not carry out this procedure if we feel anatomically this will not benefit our client.

Marionette Folds

Found at the lower angle of the mouth and travel to the chin. Like nasolabial folds the prominence of these folds depend on lifestyle, changes to bony structure and fat pad metabolism. Introduction of Fillers into this area can vastly improve and reduce their appearance giving you, the client a more youthful appearance.

Nasolabial Folds

We all have a degree of nasolabial folds. The speed at which these develop is variable per person and not only depends on an individuals lifestyle but also changes to bony facial structure and fat pad metabolism. These can be treated with Filler to help improve and reduce their appearance.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)

HA Filler can be used to improve the appearance of unwanted lumps and bumps on the top and midline portion of the nose and help with hooked or drooping of the tip.

This is a highly advanced technique requiring extreme precision but giving fantastic outcomes.

The main benefits of non-surgical rhinoplasty are:

• straightens the nose;
• improves overall appearance; and
• boosts confidence.

The treatment lasts for approximately 40 minutes, and the effects are immediate.

Sculpting (and Treatment of Deep Smokers Lines)

Above the lip we can develop lines. They are named ‘Smokers Lines’ but you do not have to be a smoker to get them unfortunately. When these become static (present at rest), Filler can be injected to smooth the appearance and give a more youthful appearance around the lips.

Tear Trough

Tear trough is a deep crease found under the eyes. This can give the appearance of dark lines under the eye make us look older than we are.

Filler is added to this area in order to rejuvenate the skin, make us look healthier and younger.

As this area is so close to the eyes including many muscles of the face and vital vessels the work should be carried out by a highly trained aesthetic clinician to achieve best results.

Aftercare.

We advise our clients to refrain from wearing makeup for 24 hours, this reduces the risk of infection at the site of injection.

Ice can be applied to the area in event of bruising.

Refrain from; extreme temperatures (hot, i.e. sunbed, or cold) for 1 week, and alcohol and exercise for 24 hours, to reduce the risk of bruising.
